Shahidah Janjua was a founding member of the Phoenix Women’s Centre. Her loss to us in 2020 is immeasurable. Her gifts to us, her shared knowledge of feminism and heart felt connection and support are also immeasurable. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was an amazing writer and speaker. She was an advocate for women and justice.
Shahida is honoured and remembered by all who knew her or knew of her.
At St John’s Theatre, Listowel, at the event for International Women's Day, 2022,
